Members of Gilbert & Sullivan Austin come from all walks of life and have one thing in common - we all love to have fun. We want you to be a part of the fun. Your membership will bring our newsletter right to your mailbox and most of all, your participation as a member will keep the G&S tradition alive! Other benefits include advance access to show tickets before they go on sale to the general public, and periodic members-only events.

Gilbert & Sullivan Austin is registered as a charitable organization exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the Society qualify as an income tax deduction in the manner and to the extent provided by the Code.

Volunteer Opportunities

You can volunteer in almost any area of the theatre that interests you. As an usher, concessionaire, or member of our house management team. You'll also enjoy a free performance.

Alternatively, you can volunteer as an administrator helping with mailings or member communications. And we certainly welcome your help backstage with costuming, props, or stage sets. You can choose to volunteer only for the Summer Grand Production, or help out throughout the year.

You'll meet lots of interesting people who all come together to help get the show onstage every season. We need you. We want you. Just let us know how you'd like to get involved and our volunteer coordinator will contact you. Come join the G&S family!
